Berkeley College has been operating in the New York and New Jersey area since 1931. What started out as a single location offering business training to a mere 50 students has since become an educational institution with seven locations as well as online education opportunities.

The Associate degree in Health Services Administration: Medical Insurance, Billing, and Coding combines training in health care, business administration, and technology to create well-rounded graduates in a good position for employment. It offers hands-on training in all the federal regulations related to coding and billing as well as basic office work and communication.
Courses include medical terminology, financial accounting, medical coding, ethics and law, anatomy and physiology, English, and general business. It can be completed in as little as 18 months (90 credit hours). Students become prepared for careers in physician offices, hospitals, nursing homes, residential facilities, and billing and insurance corporations.
