Pharmacy Technician - Certificate

Facilities and Faculty
Northwestern College operates three modern campuses in the Chicago area. All utilize current technology and have clinical labs with equipment similar to what students will find in the work place. The Bridgeview campus of Northwestern College is quite convenient for residents of the southwest suburbs of Chicago or those living near Midway Airport. The campus can be reached by public transportation via PACE or by car. There is plenty of parking near the facility which is located in a shopping center.
The Bridgeview campus offers excellent training facilities including seventeen classrooms, thirteen computer labs, and a large auditorium. There are also additional resources such as a library, bookstore and student lounge. The staff and faculty of the Bridgeview campus are completely dedicated to providing an education that puts students on the road to success.
Accreditation
Northwestern College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, the Medical Assisting program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program, and the Health Information Technology Associate in Applied Science degree program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education. Likewise, the Legal Nurse Consultant program is approved by the American Bar Association.
Financial Aid
As an accredited college, Northwestern College is able to offer students Federal financial aid, including Pell and SEOG (Supplemental Educational Opportunity) Grants and federally funded student loan programs. The school also has several scholarship programs. Many students choose to work while going to school, and the school assists with placement after the first quarter.

Located about 13 miles from the Chicago Loop, Bridgeview, with a population of just over 15,000 receives the designation of “village” according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Bridgeview is conveniently located quite close to Midway Airport and to downtown Chicago.
