About Strayer University

Strayer University is a for-profit, private adult education facility with home offices based out of Arlington, Virginia. The school is owned and operated by Strayer Education, Inc. The school first opened its doors in 1892 as Strayer's Business School of Baltimore City. It was renamed Strayer College in 1969 when it was granted the authority to award Bachelor-level degrees.
