Dividing the academic year into quarters, Northwester College also offers summer classes for students who wish to accelerate the learning process. Classes can be taken during the day, evenings or weekends and students can attend full or part time, and can change status from semester to semester.

Pharmacy Technician - Certificate

Accreditation
Northwestern College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, the Medical Assisting program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program, and the Health Information Technology Associate in Applied Science degree program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education. Likewise, the Legal Nurse Consultant program is approved by the American Bar Association.
Financial Aid
As an accredited college, Northwestern College is able to offer students Federal financial aid, including Pell and SEOG (Supplemental Educational Opportunity) Grants and federally funded student loan programs. The school also has several scholarship programs. Many students choose to work while going to school, and the school assists with placement after the first quarter.
