Bilingual Hispanic Nursing (LPN)
Designed to meet the ever-growing need for bilingual nurses in the Hispanic population, the Bilingual Hispanic Nursing (LPN) at HoHoKus Hackensack School of Business and Medical Sciences is designed to prepare Spanish speaking ESL students to enter the exciting world of nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
All instructors in this program are bilingual, and graduates will have the ability to work as an LPN in English and Spanish speaking environments. Coursework spans 18 months, and includes 600 hours of ESL training. In addition, students will prepare for the NCLEX-PN exam, and have the option of taking tests in either Spanish or English for the first 9 months of the program.

Hackensack gets its unusual name from the Native American tribe Lenni Lenape’s Chief Oratam, who deeded the land to settlers in 1664.
