Heald College offers a variety of programs for those who want to get involved in the health care field. They offer both Associate’s Degrees and diplomas in a number of fields. The school was founded in San Francisco in 1863, and the Honolulu campus opened in 1917.

The Honolulu campus boasts about a twenty-four-to-one ratio of students to instructors, with approximately 800 students and 40 faculty members. Instructors have experience in their fields and are able to bring that back to infuse their classes with authenticity.

The Honolulu campus of Heald College is a 56,000 square-foot-facility in the heart of the city. The campus also boasts free parking for students. There is a conference center with wireless capability and a Learning Resource Center that includes a library and computer lab.

The school is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
