Medical Assisting - Administrative Track

Preparing students to excel in the medical office environment, the Medical Assisting - Administrative Track program at Daymar college focuses on medical terminology and office procedures. In addition, students of the Medical Assisting - Administrative Track program will gain a detailed knowledge of modern office practices. Upon graduation, students will be well-prepared to seek employment as a medical assistant or medical office assistant.

Medical Assisting - Clinical Track

One of the fastest-growing professions in the medical field, medical assistants assist physicians with patient treatment and evaluation.

At Daymar College, students of the Medical Assisting - Clinical Track program will learn how to manage social situations, interpersonal situations, and other skills needed in order to perform clinical duties in the health care world. Graduates will be well-prepared to pursue employment as a medical assistant.

Medical Massage Therapy

The school focuses on teaching quality holistic methods and techniques to all of its students. Some of the many subject matters that are touched on include spa therapies, hydrotherapy, kinesiology, reflexology, ethics, anatomy, orthopedic massage and physiology.

Students of the massage therapy program at Daymar College will learn about hot stone massages, hydrotherapy, Swedish massage, therapeutic massage, sports massage, and pre-natal massage. In addition, students will learn how to prepare for national and state examinations, gaining a wide range of knowledge in the field of massage therapy.
