About Carrington College
A leader in private education, Apollo College was founded in Tempe, AZ in 1979. As of 2010, the school is now known as Carrington College. Focusing on practical, real-world educational experiences, Carrington College offers degree and diploma programs that feature small class sizes (typically 15-24 students). In addition to small class sizes, students at Carrington College benefit from instructors that focus on hands-on experience and lively interaction.
Focused on the classroom and community, Carrington College has developed strong relationships with the health care industry. Respiratory Care
A program that focuses on working with patients from all age groups, the Respiratory Care curriculum at Carrington College is nationally accredited. In addition to classroom lectures, this curriculum includes clinical instruction and laboratory experience.
Course topics include emergency care, disease prevention, and vital functions accompanied with this exciting career field. A career path with a growing demand, this program will prepare graduates to seek entry-level employment as a Respiratory Therapist in a variety of health care settings.
Nursing
A great program designed to prepare graduates to take the state licensing exam and become a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse, the Nursing program at Carrington College is focused on producing knowledgeable, well-rounded, skill-oriented graduates. In addition to focusing on general education courses, students will take a large number of health care courses that will help graduates become well-rounded, responsible health care professionals.

The Las Vegas campus is a well-equipped facility, allowing students to study and practice clinical activities in safety and comfort. Financial Aid
Students attending Carrington College are eligible for financial aid and are free to apply for the identical federal grants and loans that are available to students of any major university. Applicants to the massage therapy program at Carrington College will have their applications reviewed by a financial aid officer at the school who will consider each situation individually.
In addition to a wide variety of state and federal financial aid programs, Carrington participates in other alternative loan programs. If students are eligible, these can be used as an additional source of funding for tuition, books, and tools.
