Professional Massage Therapy Program

Students in this program have the opportunity to become practicing bodyworkers in a short seven months. The Professional Massage Therapy Program, exceeding standards set by national certification and state and municipal governments for licensing, is focused on the art and science of massage therapy with an emphasis on sound business practices.

Courses will include focuses in light energy work as well as structural bodywork modalities, Eastern and Western theories and techniques, pain and dysfunction treatments, and holistic health and healing. All students will become CPR and First Aid certified and will study Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology, preparing students as health care practitioners. Participation in the clinical internship will also give students with on-the-job training, preparing them for work post graduation.

Master Bodyworker Program

The Master Bodyworker Program is a rigorous and advanced approach to bodywork focusing on the holistic practice of massage therapy. Offered only to students who first complete the Professional Massage Therapy Program, students who complete both programs graduate with 1036 hours of massage therapy experience.

Offered only at the Salt Lake City, Tempe, and Las Vegas campuses, this program focuses on courses that include Advanced Eastern Paradigm, Kinesiology, and Myokinetic Techniques. Building on the foundation of the Professional Massage Therapy Program, the Master Bodyworker Program will increase your skill set to serve each of your client's needs.

Financial Aid

The Nevada School of Massage Therapy participates in the Federal Title IV Student Financial Assistance programs, including Federal Workstudy, Federal Pell Grant, and student loans.
