Orlando also offers a vibrant music scene with musicians and bands playing rock and roll, pop and alternative and plenty of major concerts. Orlando is the home to many companies supporting the space program, and Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center are within easy driving distance.
For those that enjoy nature, you can go to the zoo and check out the butterfly garden and herpetarium. You can also see manatees at the Blue Springs State Park, which is located just minutes outside of metro Orlando.
