Facilities

In order to best prepare students for rewarding careers in the medical field, Kaplan University uses up-to-date technology. In fact, the school moved to a newly renovated facility in 2008. An on-site library is available for student use, as are multiple computer labs. To get real hands-on experience, the Medical Assisting program also utilizes on-campus medical assisting labs. The new campus is accessible from both the Maine Turnpike, and Interstate 295, in addition to many bus routes.

Accreditation

Kaplan University is able to offer its Medical Assisting program because it has been properly licensed and accredited. In addition to being accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc, it is also approved by the state of Maine to offer an Associate of Applied Science degree in Medical Assisting.
