Massage Therapy - Diploma or Associate of Science


A hands-on program that covers a wide range of massage techniques, the Massage Therapy Diploma from Florida Natural College is a great way to prepare for entry-level employment as a Massage Therapist. In addition to learning about massage theory, students will study Western and Eastern techniques, and learn how to treat pain and dysfunction.

Additional focus is placed on providing clients with a holistic approach to healing, and the use of body therapy, acupressure, shiatsu, and various equipment. The therapeutic training program provides graduating students with a diploma that requires 768 clock hours or 7 months to finish. There is also an Advanced Therapeutic Massage Diploma program, which consists of 1009 clock hours. The Associate of Science degree in Massage Therapy takes 1,293 clock hours or 16 months to complete.
