Massage Therapy - Diploma
A Diploma program, the Massage Therapy curriculum at Anthem Institute is designed to prepare graduates for employment in spas, resorts, yoga retreat centers, cruise ships, golf courses, private practices, or massage therapy clinics.
In addition to learning various massage therapy techniques in order to treat soft tissues, the Diploma in Massage Therapy program is designed to give graduates the skills needed in order to relieve muscle tension, and loosen or relax muscles and their connective tissue coverings. Going to School in Springfield, PA
Located about 10 miles west of Philadelphia, Springfield is a bustling residential community of about 25,000. The area was first settled by Quakers who arrived with William Penn and was called “Amosland.” The area was mainly farmland with a few mills built on the numerous creeks and waterways. In 1701 construction began on the Baltimore Pike and by the beginning of the 20th century this road had become the busiest commercial area outside of Philadelphia.
Today Springfield Township enjoys a reputation as an outstanding community with an excellent public school system and many municipal amenities. The township has made a commitment to be good stewards of the land and has set aside 211 acres as public park and recreation areas. There is also a country club owned and managed by the township with a golf course and swim club available to township residents.
