About Miller-Motte Technical College

Wilmington, NC Health Care StudentMiller-Motte Technical College was founded in 1916 by Judge Leon Motte. The first campus was in Wilmington, North Carolina. At the time, the school taught stenography. Many other programs have been added over the years, as have more campuses. The school considers students to be both customers and products, and they recognize the need to treat them as such.

In the past twenty years, Miller-Motte has expanded its program selection to accommodate the changing employment landscape. Today, MMC offers bachelor’s of science programs in business administration, criminal justice, and allied health management.

Medical Assisting & Dental Assisting (Associate's Degree)

One of the quickest ways to become a member of a health care team is to earn an Associate’s degree in Medical Assisting or Dental Assisting. These paraprofessionals are able to assist licensed physicians and dentists in numerous ways due to the in-depth training they receive at Miller-Motte Technical College. Allied Health Management (Bachelor's Degree)
